Minnesota Health Officials reported 561 new cases of the coronavirus and 1 more death.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,433 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,038 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 479,591 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 466,311 people no longer need to self isolate.
The latest numbers from Iowa Department of Public Health show 38 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 187 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive tests reported brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive to 332,762.
There have been 5,374 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,139 were residents of long term care facilities.
There are 222 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state. Of the hospitalized patients, 54 are in intensive care and 25 of them are on ventilators.
