North Mankato – An Easton man has been sentenced to jail time and probation for threatening store workers at a local store in September.
The incident occurred after the man, identified as 63 year old Steven Scott Gray, disputed charges on his account at the store. According to court documents, Gray initially faced a felony threats of violence charge but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct last week in Nicollet County District Court.
The incident involved employees at a store in North Mankato, but it was also reported that Gray had a similar dispute with a store in Shakopee in the past.
As part of his sentence, Gray will serve 46 days in jail and have another 44 days stayed for one year. He will also be on probation during this time and must comply with certain terms, including having no contact with the victim and completing a veterans court program.
