The Martin County Board on Tuesday :

Approved Adopting a Capital Improvement Plan and Providing Preliminary Approval to the Issuance of Bonds.

Approved Declaring the Official Intent of Martin County to Reimburse Certain Expenditures from the Proceeds of Bonds to be Issued by the County.

Approve and accept offer received in the amount of $500 from the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the property rights needed to complete the roadway and sidewalk work for the upcoming Highway 263 project in the City of Ceylon.

Received and filed the CY2021 Budget Allocation Requests received from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the amount of $2,000.00; and from the South Central Volunteer Dive Team in the amount of $1,045.00.

Approve Change Order No. 1 received from Renaissance Roofing for additional Scaffold and Hoisting costs for the MAVO Abatement Work in the amount of $7,355.00.

Approve and authorize Board Chair to sign the Braun Intertec Proposal in the amount of $6,430.00 for required inspections and testing for certain materials used in the construction of Capital Improvement Construction Projects including Martin County’s Garage Facility Improvements and Recorder’s Office Service Counter.

Approved Property Tax Abatements for Parcels in the City of Granada,

2 in the City of Fairmont and 1 in the City of Sherburn all for a period of 10 years.

Set Public Hearing Date to consider Final Acceptance of Completion for JD #51 Contract. Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room – Martin County Courthouse.

Approve and accept low bid received for JD #91 M&J to Dirt Merchant Inc. of Mankato, MN in the amount of $2,100,267.36.

Approve Repair Alteration to JD #48 and to split repair costs as presented.
