MARTIN COUNTY HAS 237 CONFIRMED CASES OF THE CORONAVIRUS. 19 ACTIVE CASES. 212 RECOVERED.

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 115 CONFIRMED CASES. 10 ACTIVE. 105 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 443 CONFIRMED CASES. 40 ACTIVE. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1. OUT OF ISOLATION 399.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Tuesday, 502 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is 76,355.

There have been 6 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,823.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,340.

As of 11am Tuesday there were 294 people hospitalized, with 136 in Intensive Care.

A total of 68,488 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

 

The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting another 684 Iowans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 9 more Iowans have died after contracting the virus.

A total of 65,397 Iowans have now tested positive for COVID-19 since March.  Of those, 47,382 are considered recovered by the State Health Department.

The deaths of nine more Iowans has pushed the statewide death total to 1,121.  Of those deaths, 591 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks in 33 long term care facilities in Iowa.

Iowans currently hospitalized because of the virus is at 311, 88 patients are currently in ICU’s and 43 are on ventilators.
