The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Thursday 1,574 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases in Minnesota is 128,152.
There have been 20 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 2,301. Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,621.
A total of 113,976 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.
The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 15 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 1,401 new cases have been reported.
