Martin County: 2 new cases, none currently listed as hospitalized.

Faribault County: 4 new cases, one currently listed as hospitalized.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 579 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE 12. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1. COVID RELATED DEATHS 4. OUT OF ISOOLATION 563.

 

Minnesota Health officials reported on Tuesday 2,178 new cases of the coronavirus and 15 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 2,368 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 1,653 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 137,536 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March.  Of those, 122,100 people no longer need to self-isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 22 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 1,178 new cases have been reported.

The number of new positive tests reported brings the total number of positive tests to 117,630.

Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 89,413 are recovered.

The data shows there have been 1,658 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 820 were residents of long term care facilities.

As of Tuesday, there were 564 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, breaking another daily record for the number of hospitalizations.  Of the hospitalized patients, 128 were in intensive care, with 46 of them on ventilators.
