The Minnesota Department of Health reports that 21 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19, raising the state’s total to 200.
The Health Department also reported 221 new confirmed cases, increasing the total to 2,942.
As of Thursday, 268 patients were hospitalized, with 104 of them in intensive care and 1,536 patients have recovered and no longer need isolation.
No new cases were reported in Faribault or Martin Counties.
The Iowa Department of Health reported 6 new deaths from the coronavirus bringing the state’s total to 96. The deaths were reported in Bremer, Muscatine and Polk Counties.
The Health Department also reports 176 new cases on Thursday, bringing the state’s total to 3,924.
No new cases have been reported in Kossuth or Winnebago Counties.
A total of 29,262 people have been tested and 1,492 patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.
