Community Health and Human Services of Martin and Faribault County reported 31 new laboratory confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Monday

In Martin County, 13 new cases were reported.  The total number of confirmed cases in Martin County is 1,496, with 98 active cases. Newly listed hospitalized 1. total hospitalizations 92. Cases beyond infectious period 1,395. Covid related deaths 23.

In Faribault County, 18 new cases were reported.  The number of confirmed cases in the County is now 848, with 89 active cases. Newly hospitalized 0. Total hospitalizations 65. Cases beyond infectious period. 754. Covid related deaths 8.

Watonwan County has 13 new cases. Total confirmed 1,021. Active 25. Newly listed hospitalized 12. Total hospitalizations 51. Out of isolation 991. Covid related deaths 5.

 

Minnesota health officials reported on Monday 1,998 new cases of the coronavirus and 22 more deaths.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health 4,872 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 3,160 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.

A total of 399,311 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began.  Of those, 373,301 people no longer need to self isolate.

 

The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting no new COVID-19 related deaths while another 588 Iowans have tested positive for the coronavirus.

A total of 3,589 Iowans have now died from COVID-19 in Iowa.  Of those who have died, 1,135 have been residents of long term care facilities in the state.  There are currently 142 long term care facilities reporting coronavirus outbreaks.

A total of 267,744 Iowans have now tested positive for the coronavirus.  The state considers 214,724 of them to be recovered from the virus.

As of Monday, there were 644 Iowans hospitalized who have tested positive for COVID-19, of those 142 are in the ICU and 72 are on ventilators.
