Minnesota Health Officials reported on Monday 794 new cases of the coronavirus and 3 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health 6,098 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,876 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 455,783 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year. Of those, 439,283 people no longer need to self isolate.
The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting the positive coronavirus tests of another 452 Iowans and no additional deaths from COVID-19.
The number of new positive tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests up to 313,263.
The data shows there have been 4,488 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 1,860 were residents of long term care facilities. There are currently outbreaks at 68 long term care facilities in Iowa.
