FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 4 NEW CASES. TOTAL CONFIRMED 1,114. ACTIVE 35. NEWLY LISTED AS HOSPITALIZED 2.CASES BEYOND ISOLATION PERIOD 1,076. COVID REALTED DEATHS 16.

Minnesota health officials reported Monday 727 new cases of the coronavirus and 2 more deaths.
 According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,202 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 3,930 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
 A total of 462,528 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year.  Of those 447,420 people no longer need to self isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 5 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 292 new cases have been reported.
 The number of new positive tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests up to 319,495.
 The data shows there have been 4,906 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,009 were residents of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 55 long term care facilities in Iowa.
 The positivity rate for the last 14 days stands at 9.9%, unchanged from the day before.
