Minnesota health officials reported on Tuesday 633 new cases of the coronavirus and 8 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health 6,210 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,933 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 463,132 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began. Of those 448,595 people no longer need to self isolate.
The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 13 more Iowans have died of COVID-19 and 844 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive cases up to 319,495.
The data shows there have been 4,919 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,018 were residents of long term care facilities.
