Minnesota health Officials reported on Thursday 928 new cases of the coronavirus and 14 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,404 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,027 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 476,292 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 463,041 people no longer need to self isolate.
The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 15 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 628 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive tests reported brings the total number of positive tests up to 331,064.
The data shows there have been 5,321 deaths from the coronavirus in the state. Of those deaths, 2,136 were residents of long term care facilities.
