WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 1,162 TOTAL CONFIRMED CASES, 28 ACTIVE. 1,126 OUT OF ISOLATION . COVID RELATED DEATHS 8.

Minnesota health officials reported on Monday 636 new cases of the coronavirus and 3 more deaths.
 According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,486 people have died because of the virus.  A total of 4,057 of those deaths occurred in long term care facilities.
 A total of 485,230 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year.  Of those, 471,647 people no longer need to self isolate.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show one more Iowan has died from COVID-19 and 200 more Iowans have tested positive for the virus.
 The number of new positive tests reported bring the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 336,511.
 The data shows there have been 5,472 deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,168 were residents of long term care facilities.
 A vaccine dashboard is now available to keep track of the progress of COVID-19 vaccinations in the state.  As of February 28th, 178,875 people have received both doses of the vaccine, while 347,401 people have received the first dose.
