The Minnesota Department of Health reports 25 more residents have died of COVID-19, the deaths reported Thursday bring the state’s total to 663.  Of those deaths, 537 were cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 523 new confirmed cases, which brings the state’s total to 13,435.

As of Thursday, 498 patients were hospitalized, with 203 in intensive care and 9,136 patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.

So far a total of 113 cases have been reported in Martin County and the total in Faribault County is now up to 9.

The Iowa Department of Health reported 12 new deaths form the coronavirus, brining the state’s total to 318.

The Health Department also reports 386 new cases on Thursday, which brings the total in Iowa to 13,675.

A total of 89.294 people have been tested and 6,231 have recovered and no longer require isolation.

One new confirmed case was reported in Winnebago County, brining their total to 6 and no new cases were reported in Kossuth County.
