The Minnesota Department of Health reports 17 more residents have died of the coronavirus, the deaths reported on Tuesday bring the state’s total to 748, 608 of those deaths were among people who resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 665 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 17,029.

As of Tuesday, 545 patients were hospitalized, with 229 in intensive care and 11,540 patients are recovering statewide and no longer need isolation.

A total of 123 cases have been reported in Martin County. Active cases 11. Recovered cases 107. Currently known hopsitalized 1. Covid deaths 5. In Faribault County there are 11 confirmed cases.

Watonwan County is still at 41 confirmed cases.

In Blue Earth County, the total number of confirmed cases is 93, in Freeborn County there are 63 cases,

The Iowa Department of Health reported 12 new deaths from the coronavirus, that brings the state’s total to 367 and 341 new cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the state’s total to 15,296.

A total of 107,196 people have been tested and 7,847 patients have recovered and no longer require isolation.
