The Minnesota Department of Health says 10 more Minnesota residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Monday raised the state’s total to 1,050 and 855 of the deaths were among people that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.
The Health Department also reported 361 new confirmed cases, increasing Minnesota’s total to 25,208.
As of Monday, 549 patients were hospitalized, with 253 of them in intensive care.  A total of 255,592 people have been tested in Minnesota and 19,441 patients are recovering and no longer need isolation.
The number of cases in Southern Minnesota continues to increase, Blue Earth County has 142, Martin County has 132. 6 Active cases and 121 Recovered cases ,Freeborn County has 125 cases, Watonwan County currently has 76 and Faribault County has 19 confirmed cases.

The Iowa Department of Health reported 5 new deaths from the coronavirus, which brings the state’s total to 538.
The Health Department also reported that 200 new cases on Monday.  The state’s total number of cases is now 19,688.
A total of 159,292 people have been tested and 11,185 patients are recovering and no longer require isolation.  A total of 125 patients are listed in ICU’s across the state.
There are 10 confirmed cases in Kossuth County and Winnebago County has 11 confirmed cases.
