The Minnesota Department of Health reports 3 more residents have died of COVID-19.  The deaths reported on Tuesday raised the state’s total to 1,477; 1,157 of the deaths were among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities.

The Health Department also reported 569 new confirmed cases, increasing the state’s total to 39,133.

As of Tuesday, 267 patients were hospitalized, with 121 of them in ICU’s across the state and 34,377 patients are recovering and no longer need isolation.

MARTIN COUNTY HAS 171 CONFIRMED CASES. ACTIVE CASES 15. HOSPITLAIZED 0.

FARIBAULT COUNTY HAS 60 CONFIRMED CASES. 6 ACTIVE. 1 CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 1.

WATONWAN COUNTY HAS 238 CONFIRMED CASES. 34 ACTIVE. CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED 5.

The Iowa Department of Health reported 3 new deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 725.

The Health Department also reported on Tuesday 273 new cases.  Iowa’s total number of cases is 21,927.

A total of 25,439 patients are recovering and no longer required isolation.

A total of 165 patients were hospitalized, with 44 in ICU’s across the state.
