WATONWAN COUNTY REPORTS 299 CONFIRMED CASES. 4 ACTIVE AND 295 RECOVERED.
The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Tuesday, 606 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases in Minnesota is 57,162.
There have been 4 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the death total at 1,620. Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,233.
As of 11am on Tuesday, there were 328 people hospitalized with 159 in intensive care.
A total of 50,426 people have recovered and no longer isolation.
The most recent numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health’s website show 7 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 181 people have tested positive for the virus.
The data shows there have been 885 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far, of those deaths, 476 were residents of long term care facilities.
There were 243 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, 75 of those patients were in intensive care, with 32 on ventilators.
Of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19, 33,923 have recovered and no longer require isolation.
