The Minnesota Department of Health reported 8 new deaths due to the coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 87 and 114 new cases were reported, bringing the state’s total to 1,809.
The total number of cases requiring hospitalization is 445, 93 people were hospitalized in ICU’s across the state and a total of 940 patients no longer need isolation.
Faribault County had 4 confirmed cases and Martin County had 39. Martin/Faribault Counties Public Health reports 31 have recovered with 4 active cases in Martin County.
The Iowa Department of Health announced 4 new deaths due to the coronavirus, bringing the state’s death total to 53. The new deaths were reported in Pol, Clayton, Allamakee and Johnson counties.
One additional outbreak was reported at a long term care facility in Muscatine County.
The Department of Health also announced 96 new cases, bringing the state’s total to 1,995 and 82 of Iowa’s 99 counties have at least one case.
Kossuth County has 1 confirmed case and Winnebago County has 2.
