FARIBAULT COUNT IS STILL AT 96 CONFIRMED CASES. 9 ACTIVE. 87 RECOVERED.

WATONWAN COUNTY IS STILL AT 393 CONFIRMED CASES. 11 ACTIVE. 380 OUT OF ISOLATION. 1 CURRENTLY KNOWN HOSPITALIZED AND 3 COVID RELATED DEATHS SO FAR.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported on Wednesday 567 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The total number of cases in Minnesota is now 66,618.

There have been 17 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 1,738.  Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 1,295.

As of 11am on Wednesday, there were 321 people hospitalized with 152 in intensive care.

A total of 60,242 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.

The Iowa Department of Public Health’s website shows more than 1,000 Iowans have now died from COVID-19 as 16 more deaths have been reported, as well as 580 new cases of the virus.

The number of positive COVID-19 tests is now up to 53,497.

The data shows there have been 1,003 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far, of those deaths, 532 were resident of long term care facilities.  There are currently outbreaks at 33 long term care facilities.

There are 299 hospitalized patients with the virus in the state, 90 of those patients are in intensive care, with 33 of them on ventilators.

A total of 41,968 have now recovered from the virus in Iowa.
