JACKSON- Make a Difference Night to Raise Awareness of Human Trafficking Coming to Jackson

A Make a Difference Night event is coming to Jackson Wednesday, July 30th, in a bid to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation. The event will be held at First Baptist Church (921 Hills Avenue) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

The event will feature guest speakers and discussion about the current global issue, and work to create plans of action for making a local impact on the crime. The United Nations has declared July 30th the World Day Against Human Trafficking with the aim of raising awareness of the statistics and facts relating to this increasingly concerning issue.

Organizers of the event are welcoming locals who wish to learn more or get involved to join them, or to contact them at makeadifferencejackson@gmail.com for specific information.
