THE MARTIN COUNTY BOARD TUESDAY :
Approved awarding the Sale of General Obligation Bonds, Series 2020A, in the Original Aggregate Principal Amount of $6,935,000 at 1.63% true interest and providing for their Payment.
Approve and authorize recruitment and replacement of a Mechanic Position for the Martin County Highway Department Fairmont Shop.
Approve and authorize County CARES Act Funds Grant awards to eligible CARES School Grant Program applicants.
Approve and authorize the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office to allocate CARES School Grant funds outside of the County’s normal bill run schedule.
Approve and authorize County Small Business CARES Act Grant awards to eligible Small Business CARES Act Grant Program applicants.
Approve and authorize the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office to allocate County Small Business CARES Act Grant funds outside of the County’s normal bill run schedule.
Approve and authorize second round of a Small Business Grant Program to be funded by funds received through the Federal Coronavirus Relief Fund for State, Territorial, Local and Tribal Governments through an application process.
Set Public Hearing date and time to consider abatement to of property taxes to be levied by the County for new construction of a single family home in Sherburn, MN. Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room – Martin County Courthouse.
Approve and authorize recruitment and replacement of a Mechanic Position for the Martin County Highway Department Fairmont Shop.
Approve and authorize advertising for the sale of Highway Department Unit #32 (2005 Sterling Acterra) on the State of Minnesota MinnBid Surplus Auction Site and on Martin County’s Website.
Approve the FY2021 State of Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources MPCA SSTS Program Grant Agreement in the amount of $45,841.00, effective October 20, 2020 through December 31, 2022.
Approve and authorize the hire of John Hayes, new Victim Witness Assistant for the Martin County Victim Witness Coordinator’s Office, effective November 23, 2020.
Approve that employees are no longer mandated to take the County’s health plan(s) and to allow employees to opt out of the health insurance for Plan Year 2021.
