BURNSVILLE- The Burnsville Community comes together today for the public memorial for the three first responders that died in a standoff earlier this month.
The joint public service will honor the lives of Police Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and Paramedic Adam Finseth.
City buildings including City Hall, the Maintenance facility and multiple police and fire stations will be closed in observation of the memorial.
The public memorial will begin at 11 a.m. at Grace Church
The three first responders were killed in the line of duty back on February 18th during a standoff after reports of a domestic incident.
The shooter took their own life.
