A Winnebago man was injured Tuesday night in a collision between two semis on Highway 60 two miles south of Madelia.
A 2014 Freightliner Semi driven by David Laverne Alfson, 58, of Winnebago, and a 2006 Freightliner driven by Bruce Mark Koepp, 32, of Belle Plaine collided as Alfson tried to cross the Highway on 330th Street. Alfson was taken to Madelia Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report. Koepp was not injured.
The incident, reported at 7:22 p.m., was responded to by Madelia Fire, Ambulance and Police, Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, and the State Patrol.
