A two-vehicle collision near Mountain Lake on Wednesday morning sent a Truman man to the hospital with injuries. 25 year-old Quintin Michael Jensen was driving a 2016 Dodge Challenger eastbound on Highway 60 when his vehicle was struck by a 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by Jeffery Lee Henning, 44, of Springfield. Henning’s vehicle was attempting to cross State Highway 60 going southbound on County Highway 1 when it struck the Dodge driven by Jensen.
Jensen was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System St. James with what the State Patrol report termed non-life threatening injuries. Henning was not injured according to the report. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt and alcohol was not involved. Mountain Lake Police and Fire Departments, Mountain Lake Ambulance and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident scene.
