A one-car rollover early Saturday morning on Highway 4 near St. James sent two teenage girls to the hospital. The accident was reported at 1:30 a.m. Saturday on State Highway 4 near mile marker 33 in St. James township in Watonwan County. A 2015 Lexus RX driven by 17 year-old Lydia Bea Dauwalter of Chanhassen left the roadway and rolled. The driver and a passenger, 15 year-old Norah Grace Downs of North Mankato, were both transported to Mayo Clinic Health System of St. James with what were termed non-life threatening injuries in the State Patrol report.
Agencies responding included Watonwan County Sheriff’s Department, St. James Police, St. James Fire, St. James Ambulance, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
