MANKATO — A Shakopee man charged in connection with the May murder of Tyson Goodsell is now facing an additional felony charge. Ahmed Fuad Mohamud is charged with felony threats of violence after allegedly  threatening to kill a person during monitored and recorded jail phone calls. According to the criminal complaint, Mohamud allegedly made repeated threats during a three-way phone call on July 14, telling the victim he would kill him, even if it took years before he was released from jail. Mohamud remains in custody at the Nicollet County Jail. He is already facing seven felony charges in connection with the death of Tyson Goodsell, including attempted aggravated robbery, assault and aiding an offender. Mohamud is scheduled to appear in court September 16 for an initial hearing on the threats charge and a contested omnibus hearing on the other charges.
