The Fairmont Martins guaranteed themselves a second consecutive bid to the Minnesota Class ‘C’ state amateur baseball tournament after Friday night’s 19-11 win at Irish Yard in Milroy. The No. 1-seeded Martins open defense of their Region 13C amateur baseball crown against the No. 6-seeded and 2019 regional runner-up Hadley starting Wednesday night. The Martins (20-2) play host to the Buttermakers in Game 1 of their best-of-3 regional championship series. Hadley defeated the number 2 seed Luverne Redbirds in their series this past weekend.
