The Fairmont Martins will meet the Quamba Cubs in the first round of the Class C State Amateur Baseball tournament. The game is slated for 4 p.m. Saturday at Joe Schleper Stadium in Shakopee. This is the 25th all-time state tournament appearance for the Martins, with championships in 1930, 1959, and 2020. Other teams from Region 10C advancing include the champion Windom Pirates, who will take on Clearwater in the game following the Martins clash on Saturday in Shakopee.
